"When your students ask you in times to come, 'What do these rocks mean?'" You will tell them the Story of God. Weekly OpportunitiesSunday AMFollowing Sunday morning worship, students gather in the youth worship room located in the Jubilee building. After a brief time of announcements students are released to their individual classes. We currently have 3 classes for High School students: 9th, 10th, and 11th & 12th (combined). The focus of this time is to train our students into the traditions of the church in order that they might embody the practices needed to live Holy lives.
Sunday PMWe begin in the main sanctuary with everyone at 6:00. Students will be dismissed from the sanctuary when the children are invited up front. Students are separated into age appropriate and gender exclusive groups. These groups stay the same throughout the entire year. The focus of these groups is to provide a space for confession and accountability within our lives. Groups are no bigger than 8 students.
Wednesday PMStarting at 5:30 when our game room doors open, students begin to gather and hang out with one another. At 6:30 High School students make their way into the youth worship room for an interactive sensory worship service. After the service (7:15pm) students are split into 4 or 5 random groups in order to further discuss the topic introduced that night. These groups change each week. Groups are done by 8:00pm. The focus of the night is to be an entry point into our youth ministry.
The first Wed. night of the month is an exception to the programming. We leave NFCN and go into the community in order to serve. During the Fall semester we will be serving at Trevecca Towers, Trevecca Health Care, Murci-Homes, and Catholic Charities Refugee Service. Students will return by 8:00pm.
